Dear MSGA members:
As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation develops, all of our lives will certainly be impacted. Families and businesses are working to navigate these uncharted waters. This is global and unprecedented. In this time of crisis, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones.
MSGA has been set up to work in a remote environment and thus, we are able to continue providing services as usual. Our core mission is helping our members with health, diet, and fitness, whether it be through member benefits or educational information.
We fully support the concept of Flattening the Curve and encourage you to work from home if at all possible. And if you must go out in public, please practice social distancing by staying at least 6′ away from others when possible.
Information is fluid and changing on a daily basis, but we want to provide helpful links and information as we become aware of them.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has current and important information on the spread of the disease, how to protect yourself and what to do if you are sick.
Additonally, the CDC published a short article on Coping with a Traumatic Event.
Osmosis.org, a hub of medical videos published an excellent video that explains what the coronavirus is, how it spreads and its effects. View the video here.
The foundation of our association’s success is the members we serve, and we truly appreciate the opportunity to serve you. We are committed to proactively helping you and, as we all work together through these challenging times, are confident we will overcome and grow stronger.
